Local Class A CDL opening - Appliance delivery and Install
This is a Class A CDL position. Please do not apply for the job if you do not hold a valid Commercial drivers license. I do not have any type of training or schools.
This is a Local account that hubs out of Albany NY. You will be running for a nationwide trucking company hauling and installing appliances including:
electric ovens, clothes dryers, gas dryers, ovens, range hoods, etc.
You will pull the retail freight in a straight truck and or a daycab with a van trailer. This is for CLASS A CDL Drivers, CLASS B or C LICENSES cannot be accepted. Delivery drivers and helpers load their assigned trailers or straight truck daily and are responsible for making damage free deliveries.
The starting pay on the account is $1,000.00 to $1,100.00 weekly average gross. This is all touch freight. Drivers need to be able to load and unload appliances. All the unloading during home delivery and store pickups is required by the driver. You will use a ramp or lift gate and dolly to off load appliances unless there is a dock provided. Loads are multi-stop and include un-boxing and installation of appliances to homes, apartments and businesses. Training will be provided on installing if needed.
This is a Local account; you will be home every day. You will work Monday thru Friday with Saturday and Sunday off. Drivers can live within a 50 mile radius of Albany. The shift begins early am and will work 10-12 hour days. Interviews are being set up right now, call today.
