INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Systems Administrator Wave Systems Corp.
, a developer of information security software for hardware-based security platforms, needs an experienced IT Systems Administrator professional to provide support to its growing infrastructure and user base.
Primary Responsibilities of the IT Systems Administrator include:
Provide technical expertise and support of Microsoft-based network and applications.
Oversee desktop, server and network support problems through resolution.
Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Assist in the creation of online tools and documents for support, backup and recovery processes.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Detailed knowledge of, and experience with, the installation, support and administration of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange.
Experience with Windows Vista/XP/2000/2003/Windows 7/Windows 8.
Knowledge of a broad range of relevant multi-user computer systems, applications and associated hardware.
Experience and knowledge of biometrics, cryptography, smart cards, Trusted Platform Module (TPM), disk encryption products and public key infrastructure (PKI) is a plus.
Conversant with Microsoft scripting technologies - vbscript, powershell, and batch files is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with Cisco Networking equipment is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with VoIP telephony systems is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Skills in planning, organizing and adapting within a multi-tasking environment.
Strong computer application skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent) and a minimum of three years of technical experience.
