Radiation Therapist
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Radiation Therapist to fill an opening with a well-respected healthcare provider in Pittsfield, MA
Daily Responsibilities for Radiation Therapist:
- Administer radiation treatments, conduct simulations, handle dosimetry functions, and fabricate blocks for treatment preparation
- Exercise initiative and independent judgment while ensuring proper client care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies
- Perform radiation therapy treatments as scheduled or in emergencies under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist
- Maintain and update procedure manuals as necessary
- Manage daily treatment schedules on clinical equipment
- Schedule consists of days 5x8's 7:
30 am- 4 pm
Required Qualifications for Radiation Therapist:
- Must gave completed formal training from a JRCERT accredited radiation therapy program
- MALIC - Massachusetts Radiology License
- ARRT (T) - Radiation Therapy
- BLS/CPR
