SAFETY COORDINATOR Taconic, a global leader in the manufacturing of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts, tapes and laminates is seeking a Safety Coordinator for our corporate office in Petersburgh, NY to develop and implement safety and health programs, policies and procedures to assure compliance with regulatory requirements. Bachelor's degree and two years experience in a related science or technical field or Associate's degree and seven years of related experience. Experience in implementing manufacturing safety and health programs preferred. Must have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of safety and health regulations, as they apply to manufacturing operations. Excellent written, oral and computer skills required. Good interpersonal skills, with a focus on educating employees. Ability to conduct oneself in a manner that promotes a professional atmosphere while building and maintaining positive working relationships. Utilize influencing and negotiation skills to drive continuous improvement. Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
